Library

The Winship Library welcomes students to learn, engage, and support one another all year long. The Library's goal is to support the diverse needs of all of our students. We share a space that is fun, collaborative, and safe for everybody.

The library is always available for students to study, take a break, and check out books. It is open to students at 8 a.m., during breaks, lunch, and after school for free time, during which they can read, play games, get creative, or just hang out. Students have a dedicated class visit on a weekly basis where they come in with their ELA class to check books out, learn about upcoming activities, and enjoy the space.

The Library has a designated website where students can check for library updates and schedules and fill out our book request form. The website also includes Chromebook resources, research tools, and an online catalog. The online catalog is not just a tool for finding books; it's a platform for students to engage with the library. Students can check what books are currently in, place holds, and even rate the books they've read, making their voices heard in the library community.
